inTENSE

InTENSE is inspired by the principle of “forces made visible”, that can be found in architecture, human anatomy and the societal structures. Tensile and compressive forces are either in equilibrium, dynamically counterbalancing each other, or striving for balance – creating movement. Together, these forces develop an adaptive and resilient structure that bends rather than breaks.
This work explores being in balance, reaching tipping points and returning to a balanced state, all while dismantling and rebuilding the systems around and inside us.

“…the mercurial condition between and beyond irony and sincerity, naivety and knowingness, relativism and truth, optimism and doubt, in pursuit of a plurality of disparate and elusive horizons. We must go forth and oscillate!” – The Metamodernist Manifesto
